Help Support Eastside Young & Jewish

What is Eastside Young & Jewish?

Eastside Young & Jewish was founded in October 2019 and is dedicated to growing a vibrant and inspired community of young Jewish folks in their 20s and 30s in Bellevue\Redmond, WA.  Over the past couple of years EYJ has grown to become an integral part of day to day young Jewish life on the Eastside. We provide a holistic milieu of dynamic social events, handcrafted educational experiences, meaningful spiritual gatherings and opportunities for authentic relationships. At EYJ, we’re committed to authenticity. We’re all about authentic Judaism, authentic connection, and authentic self, and we’re here to support young Jews as they set about crafting their own Jewish identity- and now we’re asking for your support and to FUEL THE FIRE of EYJ! Helping us continue to build a vibrant Young & Jewish future, together.

How does a Match Campaign work?

Every dollar you donate today is DOUBLED!

Running an operation like Eastside Young & Jewish requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbi and Rebbetzin work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a center for Jewish life can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, a group of generous benefactors have come forward with a proposal to help EJY thrive and continue to grow this coming year. Together they will donate $68,000 to EYJ, provided that it is matched by equal donations from you, our community. For the next 54 hours only, your dollar will have TWO times the impact!

$180 = $360

$720 = $1440

$1800 = $3600

You can fuel the fire!

You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the Young & Jewish community on the Eastside by contributing to our campaign over the next 54 hours, and by spreading the word-- giving others the opportunity to do the same. Maimonides says that every good deed, no matter how small, tips the scale of humanity toward goodness. Today you have the opportunity to see the impact of that deed multiplied many times over. Join us by making a donation today!
